The Problem

Watermill needed creative vision. Their brand had undergone several iterations with very little followthrough in establishing standards and guidelines. With new energy and goals came the need for a brand overhaul. They needed vision as they were planning new label runs, a tasting room, and significant moves towards re-establishing the brand in the marketplace.

The SOLUTION

I helped build a strong brand identity that paved the way for the packaging strategy. In a very short period of time, a new tasting room was built, and my work helped to establish the direction for the customer and brand experience. My work helped influence the architect and interior designers' approach and eventual solutions. I capped all these projects off with the art direction of a photoshoot, further building the brand by helping to build assets to activate brand awareness and engagement.

In The Market

The Columbia Valley Watermill line is makings it’s way into the market, replacing products that are on the shelf. The new label has a much stronger presence and brand story.

The DTC manager has at least tripled the number of club members in the course of a year, building a loyal customer base.

Making a significant impact on downtown Wenatchee, the “On The Ave” tasting room has successfully become a stylish destination for wine enthusiasts. The environment both enhances the customer experience as well as has elevated the perception of the Wenatchee downtown district.

A great space has the ability to enhance the intellectual well-being of those who experience it. Connecting that to a great brand experience is a sure way to build a strong connection.
