These old logos keep the symbolism simple, connecting to nature and truth and utilizing imagery that is directly related. Our solution does the same. It also uses similar treatments of bold negative and positive space. The diamond plays double duty, acting as a robust visual shape and a connection to trail difficulty ratings. Tamarack trees are deciduous conifers and lose their needles in the fall. Their bright yellowing needles are visible in PNW alpine forests in the fall and are a beautiful show of nature. The Tamarack brand may someday include other kinds of alpine packs that go beyond the world of mountain biking, and we think this solution can take you up a mountain, whatever your mode of travel may be.
